Blown Glass ~ Old Town ~ Rhodes
In our shop you will find objects of pure bronze and blown glass, with the seal of the craftsman and proof of provenance. The blown glass is cooked in an oven at 1.400 degrees Celsius and is blown bowl by bowl, by skilled eponymous Greek craftsmen in the traditional way, as it has been done for thousands of years.
The bronze in the candlesticks is hand made in fired-sand and not from a mould.
Each object is unique, copies and duplicates do not exist. In the case that you select an object which already has been sold, we will send you a similar object after first showing you, via photographs to your e-mail, what we plan on sending you.
We also offer the possibility of defining your own combination of bronze and glass artwork, in whatever form pleases you.
Our objects have won awards at the Blown Glass Festival / Convention of Germany and have received great reviews from the critics. A lot of known artists have acquired our art works, which adorn their houses.
The Ampalaz of objects is done with exceeding care and particular attention. Each item is insured for shipping.
We also offer the option of ordering a custom icon of a Saint of your choosing based on copies of Byzantine icons. These are made in the traditional way with special hagiographic dust mixed with egg.
